On behalf of the Korean College of Helicobacter and Upper Gastrointestinal Research, it is a great honor and pleasure to invite you to in the 31st Annual Meeting of the Korean College of Helicobacter and Upper Gastrointestinal Research & International Symposium on Helicobacter and Upper Gastrointestinal Diseases & the 19th Korea-Japan Joint Symposium on Helicobacter Infection (HUG 2023) to be held from March 17th to 18th, 2023, at the CONRAD Seoul, Korea.

As it always has been, this meeting is a major academic gathering for Helicobacter and upper gastrointestinal disease research. The agenda of the HUG 2023 encompasses broader range of issues from Helicobacter to peptic ulcer and microbiome. World leading scholars are invited to present state-of-the-art lectures and to share their perspectives in this field. In addition, extinguished Asian scholars will also participate to make this meeting outstanding and remarkable.

We believe that HUG 2023 will be a great opportunity to discuss and share the information about the latest knowledge on Helicobacter and upper gastrointestinal disease research. Also, we hope that the meeting will encourage international collaboration in these fields.

And HUG 2023 will be a hybrid conference that will run in-person and virtually. The conference is designed and meant to be a hybrid conference to take advantage of the best that the two modalities can offer. We hope to have the opportunity to meet you in-person during the conference as we return to sharing great learning experiences together.
